Candidates who possess qualifications mentioned below may attend the “WALK-IN-WRITTEN TEST/ INTERVIEW”, for filling up of the following posts which are purely on temporary and adhoc basis for a period of one year or upto the tenure of the project, to work under ICMR funded project entitled ”Vector Surveillance for ZIKA in selected high risk areas of India”. The Walk-in-interview/Written test for all the posts will be conducted at CMS College, College Road, Kottayam, Kerala on 5th November 2017.
 
PROJECT TECHNICAL OFFICER – 01 POST (UNRESERVED) at Vector Control Research Centre FIELD STATION, KOTTAYAM (KERALA)
 
Essential Qualification Graduate in Life Sciences with 5 years experience in Biotechnology/Molecular diagnostics/ Molecular Biology of vector-borne diseases/arbo-viruses. (Or)
 
Masters Degree in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Genomics/Virology
 
Age Not exceeding 30 years on the date of Walk-inInterview/Written Test
 
Consolidated Salary Rs.32,000/- pm(Nett.)
 
Job requirement 
 
1. To work on detection of infection status of ZIKA Virus in the vector population using molecular tools.
2. Maintenance and consolidation of data of eight collaborating institutes in the project. Application form

Masters Degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/Genomics/Virology
 
Age Not exceeding 30 years on the date of Walk-inInterview/Written Test
 
Consolidated Salary Rs. 31,000/-p.m. (Nett.)
