Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on SERB, DST funded project entitled “Direct fermentation of cellulose and ligninases-pretreated cellulosic biomass by recombinant Clostridium strain for the production of butanol-a superior alternative fuel” under the supervision of Dr. A.K.R.Gobinath, Faculty of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, South Asian University. 

Qualification: Highly motivated students from the background of M.Tech in Biotechnology/Biochemical Engg./Bioprocess Engg., or M.Sc in Biotechnology/Life Sciences are encouraged to apply. 

Preferences would be given to DBT/ CSIR / UGC NET qualified students. 

Prior experience is expected in one/more of the following fields which include molecular cloning, recombinant protein production from yeast and bacterial hosts, anaerobic clostridial fermentation, native and recombinant protein purification.
