Applications are invited for the following purely project-based temporary positions under NMHS sponsored research project, "To Establish a DNA- Barcoding and Chemotaxonomy Empowered Herbarium of Lichen-Species of Uttarakhand- Himalaya and Development of a Resource Group for Conservation and Characterization of Lichen-Biodiversity". The candidate with adequate qualifications and appropriate experience in the relevant subject/specialization may appear for Walk-in Interview on 14th June 2018 (Reporting time 10:00-11:00 AM) at Department of Biotechnology, Bhimtal Campus, Kumaun University, Kuatal, Bhimtal.

Candidates appearing for interview should bring original copies (with 1 set of photocopies) of testimonials, biodata, publications etc, along with an application.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the Interview.
Junior Project Fellow (01 No.); initially for one year, extendable for two more years @Rs. 16000/Month (consolidated)
- Age Limit - 28 years*
- First class Masters degree in any branch of Life Sciences
- Preference will be given to the candidates having at least 1 year research experience in DNA barcoding and other techniques of Genetic-engineering.
